Fix your A-7 Mag Switch instead of trying to find another one. Because the Type A-7 Mag Switches are so hard to find, these New Replacement Back Plates were made for some T-6 SNJ Owners. They are made with a heavy Micarta type material instead of the old pressboard type material which deteriorates and warps over time. They are complete with the Studs and crosslink straps. NOTE: In as much as this is an aftermarket made item it should be considered for use in Experimental Aircraft only as it is NOT an FAA PMA part! The cowl plug foam does not absorb water and is UV resistant which means the foam does not fade or breakdown which allows for a long service life. The cowl plugs are connected by a 38″ x 1/8″ black cord. Each cowl plug has a woven REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT safety streamer that is easily noticed by the pilot during the preflight inspection.
