The cowl plug foam does not absorb water and is UV resistant which means the foam does not fade or breakdown which allows for a long service life. The cowl plugs are connected by a 38″ x 1/8″ black cord. Each cowl plug has a woven REMOVE BEFORE FLIGHT safety streamer that is easily noticed by the pilot during the preflight inspection. This allows access to the starter, alternator, belt adjustments and repairs without paying a mechanic for removing and installing the propeller. For this purchase, you will receive a copy of the multiple STC, permission letter allowing for your aircraft to be modified per STC SA5694NM and the modification instructions as well as the detailed hardware list. We will need your aircraft’s registration number as well as the serial number at time of purchase. Send us a message with your order. We can not complete the sale without this information. Once we issue the STC for your aircraft, you may not return the STC for refund.
